The Music Ministry is gearing up for the fall season. There are some new things coming, and we'll be bringing back our Treble Choir and Parish Choir for some of our liturgies. Please take a moment to fill out this survey and tell us how you'd like to be involved this year. There is a place for everyone, whether you are an experienced musician, someone who just loves to sing, or someone who is curious but has never tried making music with a group. Our second Harvest of Hope Corpus Christi procession was held on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Two things made this event feel much easier than last year: it wasn't on Father's Day, and it was not 110 degrees outside!
Adoration was held after Mass at Seven Dolors until the procession began. We processed from the church steps around the cemetery path, stopping at five stations to pray and sing together. At each station, an altar was prepared by one of our parishes: Saint Anthony, Saint Benedict, Saint Catherine's Oratory, Seven Dolors, and Saint Martin.
Parishioners from each of the four parishes and the one oratory participated by decorating the altars, carrying the canopy, proclaiming the readings, participating in the music, carrying torches, assisting with incense, directing traffic, preparing and serving the meal, helping to cover the necessary time slots for Adoration, and many other tasks. It was an "all hands on deck" event! We are grateful for the support of all who gave their time and talents to make it a success.
